In this article, we will explain how to customize the display of patient responses.

Variations in customizing the display of patient responses.

The following variations on the display of patient responses are available. I'll explain them one by one.

  • Hide questions and answers.
  • Show only answers.
  • Hide specific answers.
  • Hide specific answers.
  • Leave a line between the previous question and the next one.
  • Continue to the previous question.

If you check "Do not show questions and answers" in the EMR display options field in the question creation screen, the corresponding question and answer choices will be hidden in the hospital's patient response confirmation screen. The patient will see the question and answer choices as usual.

Show only answers.

If you check the "Show the answer only" checkbox in the EMR display options field on the question creation screen, only the corresponding answer choices will be displayed on the hospital's patient response confirmation screen.

Continue to the previous question.

If you check the "Follow the previous question (Without a line break)" checkbox in the EMR display options field on the question creation screen, the checked questions and answers will be displayed on a single line, without line breaks from the previous question. This can make the medical record display more compact.

Leave a line between the previous question and the next one.

If you check the "Insert a line before the answer to this question" checkbox in the EMR display options field on the question creation screen, the checked questions and answers will be displayed one line away from the previous question. This can be used when you want to divide the medical record display.

Hide specific answers.

If you do not want only the specific answers of the patient to be displayed on the doctor's screen, check the "EMR no display" column of the answer choices.

In the example below, the answer to the allergy question will only be hidden if patients select "None", and will appear on the doctor's screen if patients answer any other option.
