[Tokorozawa Akada Orthopedics | Orthopedics]
Tokorozawa Akada Orthopedics is an orthopedic clinic located in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture.
It is a clinic that is strong in sports injuries, with a director who has treated as a sports doctor for professional sports teams and a full team of physiotherapists, acupuncturists, etc.
We interviewed the clinic director, Dr. Akuda, about the background of the introduction of the Melp web-based questionnaire and the unique way of using it.
- Can you tell us why you decided to implement Melp?
I was introduced to Melp by an acquaintance of Mr. Yoshinaga. I thought it was a useful system and introduced it.
- Did you have any problems before you started using Melp?
Nothing in particular. The preparation went smoothly.
It was good that anything I didn't understand was answered immediately when I inquired.
How did you feel after you actually started using Melp?
It has been very convenient and helpful. We used to manage medical questionnaires on paper, but since switching to web-based questionnaires, we have been able to reduce the workload at the reception desk, and our staff is very satisfied.
- Do your elderly patients also use Melp?
Yes, many of them have smartphones, so they are able to answer the questions by themselves.
Even if you don't have a smartphone, our staff can answer your questions on the tablets we have available in the clinic.
For the first two to three weeks, we were not used to using the web-based questionnaire, and we had to use it together with paper questionnaires, but thanks to you, now all patients can use the web-based questionnaire.
